When The Going Gets Tough: A Legato Perspective

It would be a great understatement to say that we are in trying times. The fear and anxiety that people are feeling worldwide is real and should not to be taken lightly. Yet, as the saying goes, when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Neighbours are helping those in need like never before, possible COVID-19 vaccines are being tested with some early successes, and global air pollution continues to plummet as the world stays home singing on Italian porches or enjoying another Netflix movie binge.

Perhaps this is the wakeup call that we all needed to take a step back and make sure our lives are in order not just for the good years but for unexpected challenges and changes and of course, for the inevitable.

Here are some Legato-approved suggestions for ways to spend your time:
A1 - Add some stock to your fridge and pantry.
A2 -
Review your household’s plan for safe living.
A3 - Find a new project, hobby or game to enjoy.
B1 - Update your Will, as it’s likely years out of date.
B2 - Create the two agreements needed in case of your illness, injury or disability.
B3 - Protect your family from the unexpected and the inevitable.
If you are finding yourself a bit blue, call a good friend or a counsellor.
Get some exercise every day, even if you have to stay one meter away from everyone.

Enjoy Billy Ocean’s smooth performance in this music video. I miss how lighthearted life was back in the 80s!
