We're all seeing many warning signs in Canada about the potential and likely increasing tax (income and consumption taxes), both federally and provincially. These changes will be designed to take more and more income and savings out of our pockets to fund the ever-increasing government budgets at all levels.
At this time, discussions within our life insurance industry have not mentioned any changes that would lessen the value that can be found by shifting savings over to the asset class called life insurance, both personally and corporately.
